About Us

Moonstone Duo is Lawrence Rein and Jessica Dylan Winter. As life partners, Larry and Jess share a passion and commitment to music that rivals only that which they have for each other. Larry has been a professional musician and music teacher for more than 30 years. He also owned a prominent music school in Palm Beach County for more than a decade. Jess grew up in a family of musicians, including some who currently perform professionally, and has engaged in music part-time for more than a decade.

We’ve both felt a calling for music our entire lives. While we each pursued that calling differently, together we’ve found the link to bring our passion and dreams fully to life. We’re a premier acoustic duo based in the South Florida area, playing shows across the United States.

We feature acoustic guitar and vocals by us both – sometimes with one in the lead and the other harmonizing, sometimes as a duet. Inspired by many musical genres, we play a wide range of music (rock, pop, folk, country, R&B, Latin and more) that can be tailored to your event or venue. We cover songs from throughout seven decades of music and include some original songs, as well.

While we take great care to maintain the integrity of our covers so they’re familiar to you, we also love being creative with some songs when we’re confident our spin on them will be appreciated. We love strumming through the classics and taking requests. As creative entertainers, we match the vibe of your event or venue. From soft background music to crowd engagement with humor, we’ll ensure your musical experience is unique and memorable.

Our experience includes performing at numerous indoor and outdoor venues. This includes the Hollywood Beach Marriott, Hollywood Hard Rock Café, SunFest, Palm Beach Zoo, FAU Stadium, Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen, Bar Louie, Rhum Shak, Big Rocco's Pizzeria & Tavern, Tivoli Reserve and more. We've also performed at charitable events, weddings, birthdays and private parties on and off the water.
